the complete tree as built (Eric Brown's
x86-64 port plus every VAX patch)

The two unmodified upstream archives carry their original authors' own
addresses in their own file headers (GPL source, third-party, not touched
here). The two `vax/*` archives are the complete corresponding source for
this kit's binaries -- not a diff -- built with `git archive`, so every
file, including ones the VAX patches never touched, is exactly as it was
compiled. `SHA256SUMS.TXT` covers all four files in this directory.

See the parent kit's README.TXT sections 6-7 for what changed and why,
patch by patch, and how to rebuild from either branch.
